Yoga therapy

I ask my students to allow the flow of the breath, it is the first thing we do, it’s the first thing a baby does when born, take it’s own breath. The yoga body must be soft yet strong we need to relearn our breathing, inhalation is about accepting nourishment and exhaling is surrender letting go of that which we do not need, that which does not nourish us. I think of not just the lungs breathing but the whole posture, the body in it’s entirety every cell inhales, every cell exhales

Whilst group sessions are very valuable and provide an opportunity for people to make new friends one to one work is a personal and safe place from which to focus entirely on the individual and their own needs. Yoga can help to restore balance in the body, mind and spirit, it can relieve such symptoms as:

  • insomnia,
  • painful menstruation,
  • headaches,
  • migraine,
  • obesity,
  • ME,
  • depression,
  • energy depletion,
  • back pain,
  • injuries,
  • rehabilitation from operations or long illnesses

You can arrange one to one sessions, workshops, classes or retreats, specialist classes in pranayama (the art of breathing and breath control) and meditation or pregnancy yoga by contacting us.
